Sora no Otoshimono's Unaired Episode and Flying Panties Festival

by 20:48

So did everyone enjoy Sora no Otoshimono? Heck, I know I did.
But if you didn't, you might wanna re-check your "gender"...

Not sure if you guys are aware of this but, there was an UNAIRED SORA NO OTO EPISODE~!
Yea, you heard me, "Unaired" episode. Titled "#14 Project Pink", it was due to be released along with the DVD's.

Apparently, it was "too dangerous" to be broadcasted on television", thus the release with DVDs.

However, this will not come to pass...

Seiyuu Comparisons - Winter 2010 (#3)

by 02:22

Guten Tag, ich habe gerade mal verrückt~!
Yes, I've gone nuts like a certain someone,
With a mega line up of comparisons...
Which has taken a toll on my health

So yea, this is the last Winter Seiyuu Comparison post, #3. As most of us are aware, next month is HARU~! (spring), so get ready for the next line up of awesome series and OVA. Spring shows look really promising, so I'll touch on a few of those next month.

Meanwhile, enjoy the rest of the post as this is a super-sized edition with 18 comparisons while I hit the sack.

RX-0 Unicorn Gundam [Destroy Mode] | Full Psycho Frame Prototype Mobile Suit (HGUC)

by 17:54

March had crept in ever so slowly and stealthy.

I was not given the luxury to welcome this month so warmly as I had a pile of assignments wrapped in "DEADLINE" red tape sitting on my desktop. Now that it's over, I thought I should reward my hard efforts and got myself this model kit.

Been awhile since I last posted a model kit. But expect more to come, especially my "1/72 Armored Messiah" due to land around next week. So anyways....

I'm sure all (or most) gundam/mecha freaks out there have watched "Gundam Unicorn". Loved it, especially the fact the original art was more or less preserved due to the UC era. Even more so on the improved graphics and fluid motions, unlike common tricks where they recycle the battle scenes in the past >_>

Now onto the kit...

Summer Wars! (サマーウォーズ)

by 22:02
UPDATED: WINS JAPANESE GOVERNMENT PRIZE

When timid eleventh-grader and math genius Koiso Kenji  is asked by older student and secret crush Natsuki to come with her to her family's Nagano home for a summer job, he agrees without hesitation. Natsuki's family, the Jinnouchi clan, dates back to the Muromachi era (1336 to 1573), and they've all come together to celebrate the 90th birthday of the spunky matriarch of the family, Sakae.

That’s when Kenji discovers his "summer job" is to pretend to be Natsuki's fiance and dance with her at the birthday celebration. As Kenji attempts to keep up with Natsuki's act around her family, he receives a strange math problem on his cell phone which, being a math genius, he can't resist solving.

As it turns out, the solution to the mysterious equation causes a bizarre parallel world to collide with Earth, and it's up to Kenji and his new fake family to put reality back in order.
Honestly, I had no idea what this show was about. No clue at all.

Until the results of the Tokyo Anime Fair 2010 Animation Awards was presented, with Summer Wars weeping a total of 6 awards!
  • Animation of the Year
  • Domestic Theatical Category Excellence Award
  • Director Award
  • Original Work Award
  • Screenplay Award
  • Fine Arts Award

Seiyuu Comparisons - Winter 2010 (#2)

by 12:39

Yes, this was my expression when I heard Haruhi movie was #7 at the box office!
Yes, this was my expression when I saw the Nendoroid Azunyaa~
Yes, this is my expression as I post another shocking comparison report...
This is report number 2! about various seiyuu voices airing during the winter-soon-to-be-spring  season. I'll be touching a few (okay, so it's not a few...) of animes from the autumn, since i'm running out of seiyuus =P (looks like it will be a monthly post from now onwards)

Hope you won't end up with the same expression as Sawako at the end of this post...

New Anime - High School of the Dead

by 11:57
Update: Its official. HOTD TV will start airing on the 7th month of 2010 during the Summer 2010 (was expecting 6th of the 6th month "6/6" though)

Update: PV link by Kadokawa Channel and character profiles at website

"Let the infection, begin....."
A mysterious, lethal disease is on the loose worldwide, resulting in a catastrophic death rate of humanity, and the increasing rise of attacks, caused by the living dead.

In Japan, several high school students and a school nurse have banded together to escape Fujimi High School shortly after it was attacked by zombies. The group now attempts to figure who or what was responsible for this plague, and in the meantime, attempt to survive the present apocalypse.

Its finally animated! WOOHOO! アニメの力~!

In my opinion, one the most realistic and apocalypse-state-world manga out there. Simply because I love zombie or an apocalypse world and Left 4 Dead series.

It's like a Left 4 Dead (huge fan!) anime but more focused on surviving an urban environment with an undead city against the protagonists.

Figures Ordered (Q1-2010)

by 12:39

From gundam to nendoroid, puchi to PVC, model kits to macross, it's been quite a strain on Mr. Wallet for the past few months. Who said any hobby was cheap anyway?

Nonetheless, I have no regrets (like others) once the figure/model is sitting on our shelf, staring at us.

I don't claim to know all about figures or the different versions and what makers are good. My collection is just starting to grow as I was closed-closet type until last year. Since then, my treasures have grown quite considerably. For the new year, I thought I'd spend on my self on a few figures, here and there.

Seiyuu Comparisons - Winter 2010 (#1)

by 23:21
Ever wonder how some characters sounds soooo familiar but just can't recognize them?
Or even find out later the actual seiyuu sounds different from the previous character?

You are (Not) Alone...

I've always wondered too. So this topic will be a monthly (or every season) post (i'll try =.=) on who's playing what role in the current shows. Inspired by my previous post XD

The comparisons are quite shocking...

[Miyano Mamoru]

 Kida Masaomi      Setsuna F Seiei

[Kamiya Hiroshi]
Orihara Izaya          Koyomi Araragi

[Hanazawa Kana]

Sonohara Anri             Sengoku Nadeko
