Today, on 12th December 2011, we celebrate Nico Nico Douga's 5th Anniversary!
Its been only 5 years, practically an infant by technological standards, but its usage and contribution to society has been invaluable, as a media tool to broadcast information and as an entertainment network for individuals to express themselves with their own works, throughout the Japanese network.
A commemoration page has been created, with a celebratory video featuring the milestones of this network to accompany it, marking 5 years of "smiles".

some of my friends do not like those comment flying around, too annoying. but personally i think once get used to it, you will love it which i am now
