AFA 2011 Report [Day 2: The Masses Amassed]

It was Day 2 of Anime Festival Asia 2011 at Suntec City Convention Centre, and I'm stuck with a broken shoe, concert-hangover, and an unsatisfactory breakfast.

But truthfully, never felt better.

Yes, you read that first part right.

Its seems that fleshlight manufacturer, TENGA has expressed interest in advertising in superhero anime,
Tiger & Bunny", which has already received numerous "sponsors" from companies such as Bandai, DMM.com, UStream, Softbank and others.

The original designs (left) are from the novel, followed by the adaptation designs (right).

The drawings give off a feeling of vintage and retro-ness that is rarely found in today's character designs. Maybe its just me, but I've come to appreciate how they retained that UC era feel ^^

Figures Ordered (Q1-2010)

From gundam to nendoroid, puchi to PVC, model kits to macross, it's been quite a strain on Mr. Wallet for the past few months. Who said any hobby was cheap anyway?

Nonetheless, I have no regrets (like others) once the figure/model is sitting on our shelf, staring at us.

I don't claim to know all about figures or the different versions and what makers are good. My collection is just starting to grow as I was closed-closet type until last year. Since then, my treasures have grown quite considerably. For the new year, I thought I'd spend on my self on a few figures, here and there.
